Unless you have a sulfate allergy, expensive shampoo and personal care products aren't much different than their cheap counterparts.  

And remember- with coupons and smart shopping tactics- sometimes a name brand is cheaper than the store brand.

One of my favorite places to shop for clothes: www.everything599.com/ Yes, they have plus size as well. It's the largest section of some of their stores. The store on college and university sells up to a 5x most of the time.

And also an ok $5.99 store: www.susiesdeals.com.  Not my fav., but they have nice basic tanktops.  It's mostly "mom clothes".  Not a very good plus sized section.
