Stephanie over at Coupon Savings Game is fostering a great idea for the holidays.This fall, DH and I will be picking a few extra items each grocery trip to donate to the San Diego Food Bank. I encourage all of you to find a charity in your community and donate. If you cannot afford to buy something, and cannot coupon something for free- clean out your cupboard and donate a few items that are still in date that you may not eat.
For those who live in Eastern San Diego County, there is also Santee Santas. They provide boxes of food and gifts to those less fortune.
And for those who are in need- don't be afraid to ask for help. There are a lot of wonderful organizations and individuals who are willing to help you.
